Early each fall semester, the STH Library offers a 3-hour block of Library Essentials workshops that we call "First Paper Friday." Our goal is a skill-building afternoon that effectively preps STH students for their first graduate-level research papers. The timing - a Friday when few classes are held - is also important for students who are unable to attend our regular workshop series on Wednesdays, or who may be interested in getting several workshops done at one time.
First Paper Friday is held in our STH Library Instruction Room, 209, which is the last door off of the library's reading room. Seating generally holds 15, but can be expanded to 20 as needed. Please try to arrive early, as we have had 20+ participants in recent years, and seating goes quickly.
