Data Visualization with Tableau Workshop

Summary:

Visualizing data is key to make data accessible, to identify trends, patterns, and outliers. This workshop shows how to use free-to-use Tableau Public to analyze large amounts of data.

Agenda:

Participants will be introduced to the free-to-use Tableau Public tool. The instructor will show how to clean and upload data into Tableau, and how to bring data to life by creating sheets, dashboards, and stories. The Theology Library uses Tableau to visualize its collected data for continuous assessment of services.

Outcomes:

• Participants will be introduced to the Tableau Public tool.

• Participants will feel comfortable exploring Tableau Public for data visualization for their research.
