The Little Red Book of Wine Law : a Case of Legal Issues
This book takes a look at how law and the wine have intersected. You'll find a number of fascinating stories that examine the various legal concepts that are related to wine, vineyards, and wine-drinking, including law suits, disputes, and more. First, the book provides an introduction to, and survey of, the history of wine, wine business, and the laws affecting wine production and sale. Modeled after a case of wine, each of the twelve chapters, or bottles, examines a specific topic.
The book examines a wide range of topics including an old requirements contract between wine producers and grape growers, family/partnership issues, relationships with distributorships, labor issues, trademark disputes, and international/global concerns when using place names on wines that do not originate from the same area.
