- Vision Zero Boston Traffic Crashes (City of Boston) Vision Zero Boston focuses the city’s resources on strategies to eliminate fatal and serious traffic crashes by 2030. This map shows traffic crashes for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
- Vision Zero Fatality Records (Analyze Boston) This dataset, provided as part of the Vision Zero Boston program, contains records of the date, time, location, and type of fatality for Vision Zero related crashes resulting in a fatality. All records are compiled by the Department of Innovation and Technology from the City's Computer-Aided Dispatch (911) system and verified by the Boston Police Department as being a Vision Zero related fatality. Bicycles
- Docked Bikeshare Ridership and COVID-19 (U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics) Daily use for bikeshare systems with docking stations. By bikeshare system, primarily metropolitan area.
- BlueBikes System Data Bluebikes is Metro Boston's public bike share program, with more than 3,000 bikes at over 400 stations across Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville and Everett. Bluebikes is owned by the municipalities of Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett, and operated by Motivate.
- Citywide Bike Counts (Analyze Boston) In 2016, we began a new annual bicycle count program using automated technology. We collect data at specific locations across the City a few times per year. The counted locations provide a representative sample of people biking. Over time, we can use this data to better understand how many people are already biking in Boston, and what we can do to encourage more people to go by bike.
