1920 Women's Voter Register (City of Boston)
The Women's Voter Register Dataset is created from Election Department registers used to register women voters in 1920 after the passage of the 19th Amendment. The dataset contains information about newly registered women voters including name, address, place of birth, occupation, place of work, naturalization information, and closest male relative. This dataset is in progress and is updated periodically as additional voter registers are transcribed.

Seal of the Dominion of New England (1686)
NESRI indexes census records, slave trade transactions, cemetery records, birth certifications, manumissions, ship inventories, newspaper accounts, private narratives, legal documents and many other sources. The goal is to deepen the understanding of slavery in the northeast United States by bringing together information that until now has been largely disconnected and difficult to access.
