The Howard Thurman & Sue Bailey Thurman Collections are held at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center (HGARC), which is located on the fifth floor of Mugar Memorial Library> information on the collection, as well as digital finding aids, can be found on the collection page at: www.bu.edu/library/gotlieb-center/collections/thurman.
To gain access to the papers, you must submit a written request to the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center (not the STH Library). Instructions can be found at http://archives.bu.edu/researchers.
Access is by appointment only, and you are strongly encouraged to plan your visit well in advance of your arrival. All HGARC visiting policies and rules must be followed during your research appointment.
