6. You can then search for your class by title, course title, course code, or course instructor. Type your class where it says "Search List." Then, press the blue search button.

EXAMPLE: Here, we are searching for the class "Social Policy and Programs on Aging" which is SSW WP 704. We type that in the "Search List" box indicated by the pink arrow on the left. Then, we press the blue search button indicated by the pink arrow on the right.

8. Search for your specific resources! You can search for your specific reading, film, or article by pressing the button that looks like a magnifying glass. Try typing the title, author, or creator that you were assigned.

Searching Your List for Your Reading

Once you have landed on the list page for your class, you can then search for a specific reading, resource, or film you were assigned.

Your syllabus will let you know what readings or resources to engage with for your next class. To then find that resource, follow these instructions:

Underneath the title of the class, click on the button that looks like a magnifying glass. Then, type the title of the reading or the author of the reading you wish to find. Then, press the blue magnifying glass to search for that reading.

Example: Here we search inclusive group work since we are looking for the book "Inclusive Group Work with Adolescents by William Pelech.

Engaging With Your Reading

2. Then, connect to the resource you want to read or engage with. The item will say "Available at Mugar Library" or "Available Online" or "Download" or "View PDF". The way it is hosted depends on the type of resource it is and our licensing agreements for that resource.

The pink arrows point towards the button options of how you can engage with the resource.

If an item says "Available at the Mugar Library Stacks" it is on the shelves throughout the library. You can find the item by asking library staff at our front desk, or trying to find it. More details are available here.

If an item says "Available at the Mugar Library Service Desk" you can obtain the copy at the service desk on the first floor of the Mugar Library. More details are available here.
