CGS Spring 2021: Reading the Campus

Reading the Campus: BU Buildings & the Stories They Tell

Charles River Campus

You may not be on campus this summer -- or anywhere close to Boston. But this guide has been created to help you "read" the Charles River Campus, exploring BU and its buildings and bringing your critical eye and critical mind to bear on the campus, past, present, and future.

There is a lot of information here, designed to help you with your campus research project. But don't be overwhelmed. BU Librarians are here to help.

I and my colleagues Ruth Thomas, librarian for art and architecture, and Donald Altschiller, librarian for history, can answer questions, point you to resources, and offer whatever help you need with research. And if we're not available, there is a whole crew of BU librarians available to offer a hand.

No question is too big or too small, so let us know how we can help. Use our contact information on this page or visit askalibrarian.bu.edu for more ways to get help.
