ARTFL Project This link opens in a new window
The ARTFL Project consists of nearly 3,000 texts, ranging from classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose and technical writing. The eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries are about equally represented, with a smaller selection of seventeenth century texts as well as some medieval and Renaissance texts. Genres include novels, verse, theater, journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises.

Médias 19 est consacré à l'étude de la culture médiatique au 19e siècle. Parmi les ressources disponibles, le site propose la réédition annotée de textes d'époque, de corpus d'articles, de fictions ou d'essais, qui portent sur le journalisme (section « Textes du 19e siècle »). Il offre la consultation de notices biographiques de journalistes avec renvoi aux dictionnaires biographiques et différentes bases de données (section « Outils et ressources »). Il offre enfin l'accès à des publications scientifiques portant sur tous les aspects de la culture médiatique, rédigés par des spécialistes (section « Publications »).

Digital French-Language Newspaper Portal - EuroDocs
This portal to online French-language newspapers includes publications regardless of geographic location. The emphasis is on historical newspaper holdings; lists of current digital editions can be found in the Internet Public Library and elsewhere. General news is the main focus; specialized, narrow, trade or niche newspapers are not well represented.
