Collected Work and Monuments
M2 and M3
BU Libraries Search, the online catalog, does not list individual works in all historical sets, including monuments (call numbers starting M2) or collected works by individual composers (call numbers starting with M3).
These are suggested indexes for finding works within these multi-volume series. After identifying the title and volume, check BU Libraries Search for holdings and call numbers.

Example: The Josquin Des Pres motet "Virgo salutiferi" is found in Werken van Josquin des Près, ed. A. Smijers and others (Amsterdam, 1921–69). It is in Vol. 18, Motetten,. Bundel VII. It is no. 35.
The call number for the volume it in our collection is M3 .D4 Mo. Bd. 2-8.
