- Institute of Education Sciences The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) houses 4 different national centers on education, and is the research, evaluation, and statistics arm of the U.S. Department of Education. - National Center for Education Statistics The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the U.S. and other nations. NCES fulfills a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally.

- Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange Open Doors has long been regarded as the comprehensive information resource on international students and scholars in the United States and on U.S. students studying abroad. Originally founded in 1919, the Institute of International Education (IIE) has conducted an annual census of international students in the United States. IIE’s first independent publication of the results of the annual census was titled Education for One World, and It was renamed the Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange in 1954/55. IIE is now part of the U.S. Department of State.

- OECD iLibrary This link opens in a new window OECD iLibrary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) featuring books, papers and statistics and is the gateway to OECD’s analysis and data. It replaced SourceOECD in July 2010. OECD iLibrary also contains content published by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the OECD Development Centre, PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), and the International Transport Forum (ITF).

The iPOLL databank offers access to nearly half a million survey questions and answers asked in the U.S. by more than 150 survey organizations.
