The Visualization Dashboard allows researchers to create small datasets comprised of primary newspaper sources and the ProQuest Dissertation & Theses Database which are then visualized using 3 different pre-configured tools: Geographic Analysis, Topic Modeling, and Sentiment Analysis. This solution provides useful insights into researcher datasets without the need for computational analysis skills such as Python or R. The data used to create these visualizations are also exportable from the Dashboard, allowing for a number of pathways into more hands-on text and data mining methods.
To get started check out the Visualizations Quick Start Guide.
To create an account, go to TDM Studio and follow the instructions below:
If you have a TDM Studio workbench or a My Research account you need to register that email address to access the visualizations, but you will not be prompted for a password. Use your existing password when you login to the visualizations.
ProQuest will send you a verification email. Open the URL in that email. A page confirming that your email address has been verified displays. From here, there is a link to log in to TDM Studio.
If you do not see the Visualizations tab next to your Workbench tab at the top of your TDM Studio, please reach out to TDMStudio@clarivate.com and they will resolve the issue.
