Country Guide: Morocco

This guide is intended as a starting point for research on Morocco and lists resources on in BU Libraries African Studies collection as well as selected resources freely available online.

Government Documents (pre 1982)

J Documents are government publications that were received by the library prior to 1982.   These materials are not listed in the BU Library Search and are not searchable online.  Instead, they are listed in a card catalog in the Reading Room.  J Documents may be found in two places: either in the 6th floor stack at the back (beyond the circulating books) or the unbound (ie smaller) JDOCS which are shelved in the Reading Room.

Government Documents (after 1982)

Government publications received by the library after 1982 can be found by searching the online catalog (BULS).   Larger bound volumes may be found on the 6th floor of Mugar Library, in the African Documents section.  Some smaller publications may be found in the African Studies Library Reading Room.  If you have difficulty location an African Documents please request assistance at the African Studies Reference Desk.
