BU Libraries Materials on African American History

BU Libraries offer an extensive collection of resources related to African American history. This selective guide highlights a variety of useful sources available in print, electronic, microfilm, and video formats. The majority of the African American history collection is housed at Mugar Memorial Library. Additional materials can also be found at the Fineman and Pappas Law Libraries, the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, and other locations. The collections include microfilm editions of important research materials, such as personal papers, newspapers, and magazines.
