The BU London Library can be found in the basement of 43 Harrington Gardens.
Our opening hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-8pm
Fridays 8:30am-6pm
The library space has recently underwent refurbishing and now contains a chic, modern layout with new large comfortable seating. It is an open space with plenty of group study areas, desktop PCs, and single focused study areas. Those preferring a quieter atmosphere will find the study space beside the library teaching space (sectioned off by glass doors) an ideal location. It is the perfect space for independent study, or undertaking group work with friends or fellow classmates. There is something for everybody, and with the writing centre being next door, the writing fellows are always on-hand to help (perhaps with some urgent last-minute essay tips!) in a more informal setting outside of appointments.
Any library-related queries may be sent to the Librarian and Library Assistant on the following:
Librarian David Crossinggum - dcrossin@bu.edu
Library Assistant Clarice Ana Mihele - cmihele@bu.edu
Alternatively, they can also be accessed via phone:

The library boasts an impressive collection covering all subjects taught on the BU London course and more, ranging from philosophy, ethics and history to architecture and economics. Alongside an extensive non-fiction collection, it also holds some classic gems and popular fiction titles (including the beloved Harry Potter series and works by Austen and the Brönte sisters) perfect for some more leisurely reading on the London underground during your stay.
