Even if you can't always get to campus, we want you to feel at home in our library, whether here in person or online. Check out these great ways to get to know us better:
As a School of Theology student, you can easily get help from any of Theology Library's librarians - including your personal librarian, Stacey Duran! (See the box at right to find out what the Personal Librarian Program is and how to contact Stacey directly.)
Email sthref@bu.edu or your personal librarian, Stacey Duran (sbattles@bu.edu).
Fill out our reference interview request form (also available from our homepage by clicking "Get Reference Help" from the side menu).
BU Libraries offers a 24/7 chat service Ask a Librarian.
Call our circulation desk at (617) 353-3034, drop in on our virtual reference hours (to be announced) or, if on campus, stop by our reference desk for in-person advice. Our circulation desk is open 9:00a-4:00p Mondays-Thursdays during the semester.
Finally, feel free to use social media to ask questions: on Twitter, we are @busthlibrary, on Facebook reach us at www.fb.com/busthlibrary, and on Instagram reach us @butheologylibrary!
All incoming students at the School of Theology are assigned a personal librarian. Stacey Duran, our Instruction & Collection Development Librarian is assigned to all STH doctoral students, including both the PhD and DMin programs. Stacey is uniquely qualified to help you find and get what you need; she was the Access Services Librarian for eight years. During that time she oversaw circulation, course reserves, and interlibrary loan, making her an expert in all the ways the STH Library can try to make access to a book (here on campus or wherever you live) possible.
