- Gīkūyū Centre for Cultural Studies Blog containing articles from the Gīkūyū Documentation Centre, housed by a Community Library in honor of the late Mwalimu Francis Mwangi Gathondu of Gakindu. It specializes in archival material history of the Gīkūyū people of Central Kenya [and] explores how the traditional knowledge and wisdom finds relevance and place in today’s social-cultural environment.

Norman Miller (1933-) spent long periods of time in remote regions of Kenya and Tanzania, beginning in the British colonial era.Over 5 decades, Miller did academic work in African local government, worked as a journalist on political and economic issues, produced ethnographic films, and later oversaw research efforts on global health, traditional medicine, witchcraft-related violence, wildlife management and the emergence of HIV/AIDS.
