  This guide serves as a starting point for research on Islam and Muslim culture and history, specifically as it relates to the African continent. Use the navigation on the left for access to different types of information.  

The Library of Congress classification for Islam in Africa is BP64. At BU these volumes are located on the sixth floor of Mugar Memorial Library. Most other works related to Islam are shelved on the 4th floor.
