The individuals who comprise the PCA are a group of scholars and enthusiasts who study popular culture. The mission of the Popular Culture Association is to promote the study of popular culture throughout the world through the establishment and promotion of conferences, publications, and discussion.
Northeast Popular & American Culture Association
The Northeast Popular/American Culture Association was founded in 1974 as a professional organization for scholars living in New England and New York. It is a community of scholars interested in advancing research and promoting interest in the disciplines of popular and/or American culture.
