Archival collections at BU Libraries

Boston University Libraries is home to the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, our special collections library. One of our strongest areas of interest is the personal collections of public figures from the 20th century. Many of the individuals whose collections we house have worked in or on Disney productions, including Robin Williams, Angela Lansbury, Alan Cumming, and more.
If you are interested in using primary sources such as personal correspondence, journals, and personal copies of scripts from HGARC as part of of your research, please email archives@bu.edu with a description of your project and the timeline during which you will need to access materials. An archivist will reply to you with a list of relevant collections (they may ask some more questions about your project). You will arrange a time to come in to view the paper inventory in person the Center, located on on the 5th floor of Mugar. Please note that most items in the collects are not online.
