CGS Capstone 2019

Different Topics, Different Sources

The amount of information available to you as students at BU — and as people living in what some have called "The Information Age" — can be overwhelming. That is especially true when you are pressed for time. Libraries and librarians make it easier for you to find information on particular topics by organizing the information in a variety of ways.

Political Science subject page screenshotsThis page of the Capstone guide provides links to lists of research guides and databases by subject area. Research guides are shown first; click on the Databases tab on any subject page to view links to databases in that subject area. (Move the cursor over the i icon for the database description.)

Research guides, covering broad and narrow subjects and the topics of particular classes, present many kinds of resources and research tips specific to the subject area.

Still overwhelmed? Ask a librarian for help. Contact information for subject librarians is available in every guide. Other ways of getting help — including making a research appointment for your group — are on the Getting Help page of this guide.
