C. Allyn Russell was Professor in the Religion Department of the College of Liberal Arts at Boston University for twenty-eight years before his retirement in 1987. He taught American religious history and was a specialist in American Fundamentalism. This collection of over 150 books from his private library focuses on Fundmentalism in the second half of the twentieth century. The collection’s primary focus is on source materials relating to Criswell, Graham, Roberts, Falwell, Robertson and others, some of which are annotated. The collection is additionally supplemented by studies of other scholars and several dissertations.
