The Pickering Educational Resources Library is located on the lower level of 2 Silber Way. Here, you will find the education collection, juvenile books, young adult books, curriculum materials, the test collection, education reserves, and more. Our collection is discoverable through BU Libraries Search. While most materials can be found at 2 Silber Way, some education resources are located on the 4th floor of Mugar Library and in storage.
If an item is located at "Pickering Educational Resources Library" they can be found in one of two places: in library or in storage. Please see the table below for more information:

Some of our materials are currently in storage. These items appear as Pickering items labeled “WHE-” on BU Libraries Search. They can be requested online and are available for pickup within 1-3 days at 2 Silber Way. You can track your requests by logging into your library account. Deliveries are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. For more information, see below:

To request an item that is located in Wheelock Storage, you must make sure you are logged in to the BU Libraries Search site.
If you find an item you want and it is located at Wheelock Storage:
Click on that item record in BU Libraries Search. From the item record page, you will see a “request” button under “Find in Library”
Click on this “Request” button, select the item type (usually book), and enter a “not needed after” date if necessary. Then click “Request”.
You will see the following message, which confirms that your request is in process:
To check on the status of your request, please visit your library account:
You will receive a confirmation email when your item is available for pickup at the Pickering Library circulation desk. When you arrive, please let the library assistant at the circulation desk know that you have an item on hold. They will retrieve the item for you when you give them your first and last name.
Requests from Wheelock Storage are picked up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so turnaround time on Wheelock requests are usually 1-3 days. If an item cannot be found or your request cannot be fulfilled, you will receive an email notifying you why the request could not be processed.
