LA245: Introduction to Law

Antitrust Law

Any time two or more companies combine, it can present issues regarding antitrust law because of concerns of the combination’s impact on competition. When researching mergers and acquisitions, consider industry information, publicly available information on the Federal Trade Commission website, and information from the Department of Justice Antitrust Division. There are also several good Antitrust law blogs, but remember that blogs usually represent its author’s opinions.

For a detailed list of journals, go to our ejournals search page and use the search terms "competition" and "antitrust".
